Season of Saban

The Crimson Tide are 6-2 under first year head coach Nick Saban. The Tide has had its share of up's this season highlighted by a late touchdown to seal the game against Arkansas and a 42-17 thrashing of the Tennessee Vols. Almost as exciting has been the emergence of DJ Hall as unstoppable force (just ask the Tennessee secondary). Coach Saban has the team ready for a run at the SEC West with a HUGE game coming up this weekend against the LSU Tigers. The winner of this game controls their own destiny in the SEC race. With these highs also come lows. The overtime loss to Georgia and the current "textbook gate" have cast a shadow over an otherwise bright season. We have four games remaining in the regular season with the season finale against that team from across the state. If things work out right we'll find ourselves in Atlanta for the SEC Championship game. Whatever happens Saban has our program headed in the right direction. He is laying the framework to take us back to National Prominence.
