December 30th 2007, Alabama will play Colorado in the 32nd Petro Sun Independence Bowl in Shreveport, Louisiana. Other SEC bowl appearances include:

• Music City Bowl - Florida State vs. Kentucky
• Chik-Fil-A Bowl - Clemson vs. Auburn
• Outback Bowl - Tennessee vs. Wisconsin
• Cotton Bowl - Missouri vs. Arkansas
• Capital One Bowl - Florida vs. Michigan
• Sugar Bowl - Georgia vs. Hawaii
• BCS National Championship - Ohio State vs. LSU
