The basketball team is heading up to Birmingham tomorrow in the first annual SEC vs. Big East Invitational. The Tide will kick it off at the BJCC playing Georgetown at 6:00PM on ESPN. Following, Auburn will play West Virginia on ESPN2. Thursday in Philadelphia, Pa at the Wachovia Center, South Carolina will play Providence on ESPN2 at 6:00PM and LSU will play Villanova on ESPN at 8:30PM.RollTide.com tells of some ties between the two teams. This will be the first time Alabama has played in Birmingham since 2000 when it played Akron in the Arby’s Hardwood Holiday Classic. This is going to be the second Top 10 ranked team the Tide has played in the past seven days, with a loss to No. 9 Texas A&M last Wednesday.
Tickets are priced at $20, $30, and $40.

Is anyone going to the game??
I kind of wanted to, but I have not heard of anyone going. I think we are going to try and watch it over at Ian's...wait... your place.
